The Mora Frosts Semi-Flex Curved Boning Knife is a professional-quality butchery tool built for game processing, deer carcass work and general meat preparation. The 130mm (5") curved blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 Swedish stainless steel — the same trusted alloy found throughout the Morakniv range — hardened to 56–58 HRC for a keen, long-lasting edge. At 1.8mm thick with a semi-flex profile, the blade has just enough give to follow bone contours closely without losing control, keeping waste to a minimum and reducing hand fatigue on repetitive cuts. The pronounced curve aids posture when working on hanging carcasses, letting the blade angle naturally through the joint. The black double-moulded elastomer handle is ribbed for a positive grip even in wet, bloody conditions, and sits securely in the hand at 267mm overall. Mora have been forging blades in Mora, Sweden since 1891, and this knife reflects that same no-nonsense Scandinavian approach to working tools: properly made, well-balanced, and priced so they can actually be used.
