The Morakniv Wide Boning Knife is a purpose-built butchery and game-processing blade from Mora of Sweden, a manufacturer with over a century of knife-making expertise. The 153 mm stiff stainless steel blade has a wide profile that excels at separating meat from bone, breaking down joints and trimming carcasses — tasks that demand both edge retention and blade rigidity. The stiff blade geometry gives full control when working close to bone, reducing the risk of the blade flexing off line mid-cut. The black polyamide handle provides a secure, food-safe grip that is easy to clean and comfortable during extended sessions in the larder or on the game-handling table. As a fixed-blade knife it is robust and simple to maintain, with no moving parts to harbour bacteria. Made in Sweden from stainless steel, the blade resists corrosion in wet butchery environments. Sold without a sheath.
