The Nightforce Precision Benchrest 12-42x56 is a dedicated benchrest and long-range target scope, built for competitors who need every advantage at the bench. A 56mm multi-coated objective lens gathers the light needed to resolve fine detail on distant targets, while the wide 12-42x magnification range covers everything from close disciplines through to extreme long-range benchrest work. Parallax is adjustable from 25 yards to infinity via the side-mounted adjustable objective, letting shooters dial out parallax error precisely at any distance. Target-style turrets are calibrated in true .125 MOA (1/8 click) increments with 40 MOA of elevation and windage travel, and can be re-indexed to zero after sighting in. A coil-spring plunger return system underpins consistent, repeatable tracking, while the fast-focus eyepiece lets shooters dial in reticle sharpness in seconds. The scope carries the glass-etched, illuminated NP-2DD reticle - tapered horizontal bars lead the eye to a floating 0.1875 MOA centre dot for a clean, uncluttered aim point, with a secondary .125 MOA holdover dot for flat-shooting cartridges out to 500-600 yards. Built on a 30mm main tube, second focal plane, waterproof and fogproof throughout.
