Parker-Hale Phosphor Bronze Shotgun Bore Brush
30271512G
This Parker-Hale phosphor bronze brush is a bore-cleaning tool for shotguns, used to scrub powder fouling, plastic wad residue and leading out of the barrel before you run patches or a mop through. The bristles are spiral-wound phosphor bronze, which is hard enough to shift stubborn deposits yet soft enough that it will not score or damage the bore the way a steel brush can. It threads onto the end of a cleaning rod and is cut to the British (UK) thread standard, so it fits Parker-Hale rods and most other British-pattern rods. Push it through the barrel a few times, then follow up with a jag and patches to clear the loosened fouling and finish with a lightly oiled mop. Regular use keeps the bore clean and helps maintain consistent patterns, whether you are looking after a game gun, a wildfowling semi-auto or a clay gun. A simple, hard-wearing item that earns its place in any shotgunner's cleaning kit and lasts for many seasons of proper care.
