The Lightforce Pred3x is a compact, lightweight LED gun light built for night shooting on foxes and vermin, mounting directly to your rifle scope so the beam follows your point of aim. It runs a genuine CREE LED with a colour rendering index chosen to give a neutral white light, which lifts target acquisition and colour definition and cuts the glare you get from cheaper LEDs, so a fox or rabbit stands out cleanly against the background. The body is machined from billet 6061-grade aluminium with multiple O-ring seals and a toughened, ultra-clear glass lens, while a treated aluminium reflector holds a fixed, focused beam out to roughly 80 metres (87 yards). It fixes to a Picatinny or Weaver rail through a quick-release mechanism for fast fitting and removal between sessions. Two fully charged batteries give around 90 minutes at full intensity; you can run it on a single battery for longer, lighter use, or power it straight from a USB source for extended spells, charging and running at the same time. The CREE LED is rated for 50,000 hours of life.
