The Sierra Pro-Hunter 150 grain Round Nose is a .30 calibre (.308") reloading bullet built for hunters who need reliable expansion and deep penetration at short to medium range. Its flat-base design and custom-tapered jacket are engineered for controlled expansion and strong weight retention, giving consistent, game-stopping performance on medium game such as whitetail and black bear. Sierra notes that the round-nose profile's shorter length for its weight allows a rifle barrel to stabilise a heavier bullet than an equivalent Spitzer-shaped design would permit, which suits fast, close-range shots in heavy cover. This is a component bullet only, supplied 100 to the box, for handloaders working up their own rifle cartridge loads rather than loaded ammunition ready to fire. As with all Sierra Pro-Hunter bullets, quality control is tight and consistency from box to box is a hallmark of the range, making it a dependable choice for stalkers who load their own rounds.
