The Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 is a high-specification thermal imaging front attachment designed to clip in front of an existing daytime rifle scope, transforming it into a thermal sight without replacing your optic. The heart of the unit is a 640×480 thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD below 40 mK, producing detailed imagery across its 2,300 m detection range. A 50 mm f/1.0 germanium objective lens maximises thermal energy collection, maintaining clear picture quality in total darkness, heavy rain, fog and snow. The full-HD AMOLED display renders scenes with high contrast and smooth motion response — important when tracking moving quarry at range. Mounting is handled by the PSP-B quick-release bayonet adaptor system, enabling tool-free attachment to daytime optics with consistent alignment. The magnesium-alloy body carries an IPX7 rating — submersible to 1 m for 30 minutes — and is rated for -25 °C to +50 °C operation. Dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) connects to the Stream Vision 2 app for remote control, video streaming, image sharing and firmware updates; onboard storage handles still images and video recording direct to the device.
