The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL60 is the high-resolution model in the Thermion 2 LRF 60 series, built around a 1024×768, 12µm thermal sensor with a NETD rating of less than 35mK. The step up to a 1024×768 sensor — versus the 640×480 arrays in the XG60 and XP60 — delivers noticeably more image detail: finer recognition of body shape and antler configuration at distance, and cleaner identification of quarry against complex backgrounds. The 60mm f/1.1 germanium lens operates at 2.5–20× magnification with an 11.7° field of view, making the XL60 the most versatile in the range for mixed use — wide enough for close-in woodland stalking yet with sufficient reach for open-ground work to 2,800 metres. The 2560×2560 Micro-OLED display presents the high-resolution feed clearly, with 65mm eye relief for extended comfortable glassing. The built-in 905nm laser rangefinder gives distance readings accurate to ±1m at up to 800 metres. A 64GB internal recorder captures 1280×960 video with audio, and the removable APS3 battery pack runs for up to seven hours — a spare is included in the box. Bluetooth pairing gives access to a supplied remote control, the Stream Vision 2 app, and Stream Vision Ballistics. The metal body weighs 1,160g, is rated IPX7 and withstands 6,000 joules of recoil; it mounts on standard 30mm rings.
