The Real Avid Gun Boss Universal Flex Rod Kit uses plastic-coated flexible cleaning cables with a T-handle instead of threaded rods, so cleaning rifles, shotguns and handguns is quicker. A long and a short flex rod are included. Rifle and handgun phosphor bronze brushes cover .45, .357/.38/9mm, .30, .270-.280/7mm, .22-.223/5.56mm and short-action .22, with a .17 brush and slotted tip combination. Shotgun users get 12 and 20 gauge brushes and mops. Three non-marring nylon slotted tips, large and small thread adapters and 25 rifle/handgun plus 25 shotgun patches complete the kit, all in a compact, zipped, weather-resistant ballistic nylon case.
