Magnification: 3-12x | Objective: 50 mm | Tube: 30 mm | Illuminated L7 glass-etched reticle (second focal plane) | Fully multi-coated lenses | 1/4 MOA capped turrets | Nitrogen-purged — fog-proof, waterproof and shock-resistant | Hard anodised matte finish | Lifetime warranty
The Mjoelner Heimdal VS 3-12x50 IR is the value-tier scope in the Heimdal range — built around a 30 mm tube, fully multi-coated lenses and an illuminated L7 glass-etched reticle in the second focal plane. The 3-12x magnification range covers the bulk of UK stalking work, from low-power use in close cover to longer hill shots out to typical engagement distances. The 50 mm objective gives a useful exit pupil across the magnification range, with capped 1/4 MOA turrets for set-and-forget zeroing. The nitrogen-purged chassis is waterproof, fog-proof and shock-resistant, with a hard anodised matte finish. Backed by Mjoelner's lifetime warranty. For stalkers who want the Heimdal feature set — illuminated etched reticle, multi-coated optics, properly built chassis — at the value-tier price point, the VS 3-12x50 is the natural pick. The XO line steps up to BaK4 glass and a larger 56 mm objective for those who prioritise low-light performance.
