SAKO's Gamehead .223 Remington 50-grain soft point is a compact, accurate centrefire round intended for predator control, fox shooting and small to medium game. The .223 Rem is a popular choice for UK stalkers and pest controllers who need a flat-shooting cartridge with minimal meat damage at moderate ranges. The spitzer-nosed soft point design uses a light jacket over a non-bonded lead core that initiates fast, wide expansion on impact, making the most of the calibre's velocity while remaining effective even at reduced impact speeds at distance. SAKO manufactures bullet and case together at their Riihimäki facility in Finland, individually inspecting components, minimising variation in the single-base powder charge and maintaining consistent primer ignition across the box. The 50-grain load offers a lively muzzle velocity suited to the flat shooting expectations of .223 Rem users. Packed 20 rounds per box.
