The Sierra #1615 is a .25 calibre (.257in diameter) 90 grain hollow point boat tail bullet from the GameKing line, supplied as a box of 100 component projectiles for handloading. Sierra designed it originally as a varmint bullet, but its role has broadened: it is extremely accurate at all velocity levels, which makes it suitable across the entire range of .25 calibre cartridges. At high velocity it performs as a varmint bullet, and it can also be used on medium game loaded in smaller-capacity cartridges such as the 250-3000 Savage and the 257 Roberts. The boat tail base reduces drag and helps the bullet settle quickly in flight, while the hollow point nose opens readily on impact. These are bullets only, not loaded ammunition, and must be assembled using appropriate, verified load data.
