The Sitka Back40 is a tall, insulated rubber hunting boot built to update the classic wellington-style boot most stalkers and wildfowlers already know. The waterproof rubber and neoprene upper is zonally moulded for comfort and protection, and 800g of Thinsulate insulation gives all-season warmth, rated by Sitka to a comfort range of roughly -29°C to 4°C. A full-length moulded EVA midsole and a proprietary PU footbed combine for genuine underfoot comfort over a long day on foot, while the multi-surface rubber outsole — built on Sitka's own Apex Tread System — grips confidently on mud, grass and wet ground. Reinforced rubber overlays at the heel and toe add durability exactly where a working boot wears out first, and a rubber heel kick pad makes the boot easy to remove at the truck or in the blind. Sitka recommends sizing up if you're between sizes. Built for planting a food plot, standing over decoys, or a full day in a hide, the Back40 brings genuine comfort and support to a boot style that has traditionally offered little of either.
