The Sitka Core Merino 330 Hoody is the warmest base layer in Sitka's Core Merino range, built for the coldest days on the hill. Its 330-gram, 17.5-micron ArmorSpun merino wool exterior gives an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, trapping heat without adding bulk under a jacket or shell, while merino's natural odour resistance helps keep you undetected on a long stalk. A recycled synthetic interior moves sweat away from the skin, so the wool keeps insulating rather than getting saturated during a hard climb.
The contoured hood carries a breathable merino mesh facemask for cold-weather coverage and concealment without restricting vision. Snag-preventative stitching along the sleeves guards against abrasion from pack straps, a zippered chest pocket and low-profile handwarmer pocket keep small essentials to hand, and integrated thumb holes anchor the cuffs for easy layering under gloves. It is machine washable and dryable with the rest of the laundry.
