Starline brass for the .38-40, a cartridge that began life as a black powder round. It is essentially a .44-40 case necked down to take a .401 in diameter bullet. Starline's .38-40 cases have a wall thickness of .0062 in, yet they are stiffer and less fragile than some other brands, which makes them noticeably easier to reload without crumpling the thin case mouths. A good choice for keeping vintage-style rifles and revolvers in this calibre shooting. Pack of 50 cases.
