Starline brass for the .40-65, also known as the .40-65 Winchester, .40-60 Marlin or .40-65 Marlin. This vintage cartridge was designed for both smokeless and black powder. Starline size the case to fit even the tightest chambers, with internal capacity similar to Winchester brass and an average mouth wall of .0095 in. In larger chambers the brass may end up shorter than wanted after fireforming; if you need cases over 2.090 in after fireforming and neck sizing, forming Starline .45-70 brass is a good alternative. Overall length 2.097 to 2.104 in; large rifle primer. Pack of 50 cases.
