Tier One's four-screw picatinny rings for 34mm scope tubes, in the medium (26mm) height. They are machined on five-axis CNC machinery from solid billets of 7075-T6 aluminium, and Tier One cut the process from eight operations to two so there is no accuracy lost to re-setting. Because of that precision, lapping is not needed when the rings are fitted to a quality picatinny rail. The stainless steel screws are made on Tier One's own machines. Tier One recommend torquing the rings to 18 in-lbs to protect softer scope tubes, and at that torque they do not recommend them for magnum calibres; for those, their Monomount or Tactical Rings give a much larger contact area.
