Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are a tidy alternative to loose patches when you come to clean a .44 or .45 calibre bore. Each pellet is formed from compressed heavy felt that grips the lands and grooves of the rifling for a consistent fit, pushing dirt, fouling and lead residue out of the barrel in one steady stroke. They are tougher and more durable than a cut patch, and far quicker to load on the rod, which makes them handy for a pistol, revolver or muzzleloader bore that needs a fast pull-through at the end of a range session or before it goes back in the cabinet. Used regularly, they help keep a barrel clean and accurate. This is a pack of 50 pellets sized for .44/.45 calibre, supplied with one calibre-correct jag so you can fit them to a standard cleaning rod straight away. Note that these are gun-bore cleaning consumables, not airgun ammunition. A multi-calibre pistol kit with assorted pellets and jags is offered separately for those cleaning more than one bore size.
