Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are a gun-bore cleaning consumable, not ammunition, designed to push solvent and lift fouling out of a .50 calibre barrel. Each pellet is formed from heavy compressed felt that grips the lands and grooves of the rifling more consistently than a loose patch, so it scrubs out carbon, lead and powder residue in a single even pass. Because the felt holds its shape, the pellets are tougher and easier to handle than cut patches, and they waste less solvent. This pack contains 50 pellets sized for .50 calibre bores, along with one calibre-correct jag that screws onto a standard cleaning rod; thread a pellet onto the jag with a twisting motion, charge it with your usual bore solvent or oil, and run it through. For deer stalkers and target shooters who clean a big-bore rifle or muzzleloader regularly, it is a tidy, repeatable way to keep the bore in good order between range sessions and after a day in the field.
