The Tipton Handgun Bronze Bore Brush is a calibre-specific brush for cleaning the barrel of a .44 handgun, supplied here in a pack of three. Each brush carries dense phosphor bronze bristles set on a twisted wire core, sized precisely to the .44 bore so the bristles make full contact with the rifling for an efficient, thorough scrub. Bronze is firm enough to lift baked-on carbon, copper and powder fouling that patches alone leave behind, yet soft enough not to harm the bore. Run on a solvent-soaked brush in steady passes, it loosens deposits ahead of a final patch-through, restoring a clean barrel and consistent accuracy. The brushes use the standard 8-32 threaded fitting, so they screw onto most common cleaning rods and pull-through handles. Buying three to a pack means you always have a fresh brush to hand, as bristles soften with use and should be replaced once they no longer grip the bore.
