The Tipton Bronze Bore Brush is a calibre-specific cleaning brush sized for .22 rifle barrels, supplied here as a three-pack so you always have a fresh brush to hand. Each brush is built around a twisted brass-wire core that holds densely packed bronze bristles, sized to match the .22 bore for an even, full-contact scrub down the barrel. Bronze is softer than barrel steel, so it bites into carbon, powder fouling and copper streaking without scoring the rifling. Used with cleaning solvent on a one-piece rod, it works the fouling loose ahead of patching, helping keep a rimfire or .22 centrefire shooting accurately. Caliber-specific fit matters: an undersized brush skips over deposits while an oversized one is hard to push through, so matching the brush to the bore gives the most thorough clean.
