This is a three-pack of Tipton bronze bore brushes sized specifically for the 10-gauge shotgun barrel. The phosphor-bronze bristles are stiff enough to scrub out baked-on powder fouling, plastic wad residue and lead from the bore, while remaining safe against steel barrels when used with the right solvent. Each brush is built around a single-piece twisted wire core that runs through a crimped coupler, so the head will not pull apart or drag bare wire across the bore as you stroke it through. The gauge-specific fit means the bristles bear evenly on the barrel wall for proper contact, rather than the loose, hit-and-miss cleaning you get from an undersized brush. Brushes are consumables, and bronze wears with use, so a three-pack keeps spares on hand for the wildfowling and goose season when a 10-bore earns its keep. They fit cleaning rods and adaptors with the standard 5/16-27 shotgun thread.
