The Rimfire Zeroing Square is a straightforward square gong from Tom's Targets' rimfire range, sized for zeroing and general practice with .22 rimfire rifles and FAC-rated air rifles. It is cut from Hardox 450 plate steel, a wear-resistant grade used across the maker's target line, and measures roughly 200 x 200mm at approximately 6mm thick — enough plate to take repeated hits from rimfire and FAC air rifle calibres without deforming. The steel is left in its raw, uncoated finish rather than painted, which lets it sit outdoors through a season without a coating chipping or flaking the way a painted target eventually does; bare Hardox simply weathers to a dull grey and keeps working. This is the target plate only — a pole, chain or stand is needed to mount it and is sold separately, so it can be paired with whichever of Tom's Targets' stand options suits the range or garden setup. A generous, easy-to-see face makes it a sensible choice for the first target used when settling a new rifle's zero.
