Used this before. Excellent to maintain and nourish wood - Not guns, but in this case a guitar neck and wooden knife handles.
Service and product were great, won't use any other product on my gun stocks.
I make Guitars for a hobby over the years I have used Varnish, Finishing Oil ,French Polish etc ...Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil is the best yet ... easy to apply using French Polish Technique quick to dry with a perfect predictable Finish.
Used to finish acoustic guitar after using water based grain filler. Tru-Oil dries very quickly, I diluted with about 10% white spirit to slow the drying process and allow thinner coats. 5 thin coats of Tru-Oil produced a glassy gloss finish. Cut this back with 0000 steel wool and applied wax polish to give a more silky gloss. Much easier than French polishing!! Try out on scrap wood first to get used to it!
This stuff is the absolute bollocks
