Vortex's Jackal performance sunglasses bridge the gap between hyper-tactical eyewear and uncomfortable safety glasses, giving ballistic-rated protection in a frame you will happily wear off the range too. This version pairs a blue frame with smoke lenses finished with a blue mirror. Vortex lists the polycarbonate lenses as polarised with 100% UV protection, plus smudge-resistant, anti-scratch and anti-reflective treatments, so glare off water, wet roads or bright skies is cut down without losing clarity. For protection, the Jackal is ANSI Z87.1+ tested and its lenses are tested to MIL-PRF-32432A 4.8.4 for ballistic impact, making it a sound choice for clay and game shooters, as well as for days on the hill, on the water or behind the wheel. The lightweight TR90ZZ thermoplastic frame has a non-slip bridge and temples so the glasses stay put when you mount a gun or move quickly, and Vortex designs it to be ear protection ready, so it works alongside muffs. To clean, blow off any grit first, then wipe with a soft cotton or optical cloth. Like Vortex's optics, the Jackal is backed by the Vortex VIP Warranty, which Vortex describes as unlimited, unconditional and lifetime.
