The Razor UHD 18x56 sits at the top of Vortex's binocular range, built on the Ultra High Definition optical system with APO index-matched lenses that cut chromatic aberration for true colour and edge-to-edge sharpness. At 18x this is the long glass for hill hunters and wildlife watchers, best propped on a rucksack or tripod to pick apart a distant corrie or judge a stag across the glen, with 56 mm objectives keeping the image bright as light fades. XR Plus coatings on every air-to-glass surface maximise light transmission for the first and last minutes of the day, and ArmorTek protects the outer lenses from scratches, oil and dirt. Inside the magnesium chassis is an Abbe-Koenig prism, whose longer optical path Vortex credits with sharper resolution, with a true open hinge that saves weight and bulk. Eye relief is 18.0 mm with twist-up eyecups for glasses wearers, focus is by a centre wheel, and the locking diopter on the right eyepiece holds your setting. Argon-purged and O-ring sealed, it is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, tripod adaptable, and covered by the Vortex VIP Warranty, which Vortex describes as unlimited, unconditional and lifetime.
