The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 1-inch Extra High raises a 1-inch tube scope to a centre height of 1.50 inches above the rail — the tallest height in the Sport range for standard 1-inch tube optics. This elevated position is useful for large-objective scopes where barrel or rail clearance is a concern, or when a raised stock comb makes a higher cheek-weld height more natural. Machined from 6061 aluminium and finished in a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised coat, these rings are corrosion-resistant and practical for use in all weather. An integrated recoil lug drops into the Picatinny or Weaver rail cross-slot to mechanically lock the mount in place and resist forward scope movement under centrefire recoil. T-25 Torx cap and base screws secure the rings, with torque values laser-engraved directly onto the ring body — 15–18 in-lbs for cap screws and 30 in-lbs for base screws — so installation is straightforward and accurate without additional reference. Each set contains two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws.
