The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 1-inch High is a two-piece mounting ring for 1-inch tube riflescopes on Picatinny or Weaver-style rails. The High height positions the scope tube centre at 1.1 inches above the rail, which is well suited to scopes with larger objective lenses that need extra clearance to avoid contact with the barrel or rail. Machined from 6061 aluminium and given a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised finish, these rings cope with the demands of field use in all British weather conditions. An integrated recoil lug engages the rail cross-slot to mechanically lock the mount against forward shift under centrefire recoil — not just relying on screw friction alone. T-25 Torx cap and base screws are used throughout, with torque values laser-engraved onto the ring body: 15–18 in-lbs for cap screws and 30 in-lbs for base screws. This removes guesswork and prevents tube-damaging over-tightening. Each set contains two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws.
