The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 30mm Extra High is designed for 30mm tube scopes that need maximum clearance above the rail, positioning the scope tube centre at 1.50 inches — the tallest option in the Sport ring range. This elevated height suits large-objective scopes that would foul a lower mount, as well as set-ups where rail geometry or stock design requires additional scope elevation. Machined from 6061 aluminium and finished in a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised coat, the rings are built to handle the rigours of centrefire shooting in all conditions. An integrated recoil lug engages the rail cross-slot to mechanically prevent forward scope movement under recoil, augmenting the clamping force of the T-25 Torx screws. Torque values are laser-engraved directly onto the ring body — 15–18 in-lbs for cap screws, 30 in-lbs for base screws — removing any need to consult a manual during installation. Each set includes two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws.
