The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 30mm Low mounts a 30mm tube riflescope in the lowest viable position on Picatinny or Weaver-style rails, with a centre scope height of 0.80 inches above the rail. This profile suits scopes with smaller or moderate objective lenses where sufficient barrel clearance exists, and it keeps the eyepiece at a natural cheek-weld height without any riser required. Machined from 6061 aluminium and finished in a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised coat, these rings resist corrosion and minimise reflection in field conditions. An integrated recoil lug engages the rail cross-slot to mechanically lock the mount, preventing forward scope movement under centrefire recoil. T-25 Torx cap and base screws are used throughout, with torque figures laser-engraved on the ring body — 15–18 in-lbs for cap screws and 30 in-lbs for base screws — making correct installation quick and reliable. A practical, well-specified mount for hunters and stalkers running 30mm tube scopes where a compact bore-to-optic axis is the priority. Each set includes two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws.
