The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 30mm Medium is a two-piece scope mounting ring for 30mm tube riflescopes on Picatinny or Weaver-style rails. The Medium height positions the scope tube centre at 0.90 inches above the rail — a versatile height that accommodates moderately sized objective lenses while keeping the optic close enough for a natural cheek weld on most stalking and hunting rifle stocks. Machined from 6061 aluminium and finished with a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised coat, these rings resist corrosion and glare in any weather. An integrated recoil lug drops into the rail cross-slot, mechanically preventing forward scope movement under centrefire recoil loads. Torque specifications are laser-engraved onto each ring — 15–18 in-lbs for the T-25 Torx cap screws and 30 in-lbs for the base screws — making accurate installation straightforward without reference to a manual. Each set contains two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws ready for installation.
