The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-10x24 FFP is a low-power variable optic built for the full range from close-quarters speed to genuine long-range work. Its first focal plane EBR-8 BDC reticle (MRAD) scales with magnification, so holdover and ranging subtensions stay accurate at any setting from 1x to 10x, and the reticle illuminates automatically the moment the rifle moves, shutting off again after ten minutes to save the CR2032 battery. A 30mm single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube keeps the optic light, rugged and properly aligned, while fully multi-coated lenses and the XD optical system deliver a bright, sharp, low-aberration image right to the edges. Nitrogen purging and O-ring seals make it waterproof and fogproof in the field, and ArmorTek coatings protect the lenses from scratches, oil and dirt. Capped turrets move in precise 0.1 MRAD clicks with 10 MRAD per rotation, and a fast-focus eyepiece and included throw lever make quick adjustments straightforward under pressure.
