The Bisley Wood Top Wading Stick is a wading staff built to give anglers a steady third point of contact when crossing deep or fast-moving rivers. The wood is harvested from sustainable forests and shaped into a rounded top with a thumb groove, so your thumb and fingers settle into a firm, secure grip even with wet or cold hands. A fitted lanyard lets you loop the stick to your wrist or arm, keeping it to hand if you need both hands free mid-crossing, while the lead-weighted bottom adds stability underfoot and helps the stick sit true against the riverbed rather than skating on stones. It is a straightforward, no-frills piece of kit aimed squarely at river and fly fishing, where sure footing in deep water matters as much as the tackle itself. A useful addition to the kit bag for anglers who regularly wade UK rivers and want extra confidence on uneven or slippery riverbeds.
