A steel housing cut specifically for the ZEISS Secacam 1, made to protect the camera from knocks, wildlife and interference where it is left unattended. Openings for the lens, infrared sensor and LED arrays are cut precisely so nothing obstructs the image, and the gap between camera and housing acts as a buffer against falling branches and impacts. The open design lets water drain rather than collect. The power socket on the underside of the camera stays accessible, so an external supply can be connected without taking the camera out. The rear carries a quarter-inch thread for tripods, mounts or tree straps, plus eyelets for a cable lock and the option to screw the housing directly in place.
