The Clifton Mid is part of Albatros' DYNAMIC line of safety footwear, certified to EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC and built to be metal-free throughout. In place of a steel toe cap it uses a fibreglass-reinforced composite cap, which gives more room for the toes, is lighter than steel, and is antimagnetic and thermally insulating — useful where a metal toe cap would be a liability. Underfoot, a flexible anti-penetration midsole made from ceramic-coated fibres protects against sharp objects without the stiffness of a steel plate, sitting on a soft PU layer that cushions each step. The abrasion-resistant DUO-PU outsole is flexible and slip-resistant (SRC rated), with wide flex grooves and varied profile elements for grip across wet, oily or muddy ground and industrial floors alike. The mid-cut, lace-up design gives extra ankle support over a low trainer while staying comfortable enough for a full working day. A practical, well-protected boot for keepering, larder work, kennels and general trade use around the yard or workshop.
