The Amblers Safety AS718 is a lightweight safety trainer for anyone who wants proper protection without the weight and stiffness of a full safety boot. It's certified S1P SRA to EN ISO 20345, built around a 200 Joule aluminium toe cap and a non-metal anti-penetration midsole that guard against impact and sharp objects underfoot, while the SRA-rated outsole keeps its grip on wet, oily or muddy surfaces. A breathable mesh upper wicks moisture away and pairs with a padded mesh collar and tongue for a comfortable fit, and the EVA/rubber outsole is cemented on for durability through hard-wearing days. A removable memory foam footbed adds cushioning underfoot and can be swapped out for an orthotic if you need one. Built entirely from leather-free materials, it's suitable for vegetarians as well as anyone after a lighter alternative to a traditional boot.
