The Amblers Safety AS980C Crusader is a lightweight, metal-free 6" safety boot rated EN ISO 20345 S7L SRC, built for keepering, larder work, kennels and general estate or trade use where safety footwear is required but a steel toecap isn't wanted. In place of steel, it carries a fibreglass composite toe cap, backed by a puncture-resistant, non-metallic midsole — both metal-free, keeping the boot lighter on the foot over a long day. The water-resistant full-grain leather upper sits over an internal waterproof membrane, and a moulded PU toe guard, tested to the current scuff-cap standard, protects the front of the boot from everyday abrasion. A TPU heel counter adds support, with a functional heel kick, while a deep padded mesh collar and a cushioned, removable PU footbed with arch support add extra comfort. Underfoot, Amblers' own ladder-grip MICHELIN rubber outsole is non-marking and SRC-rated for slip resistance on wet, oily or muddy going.
