The Amblers Safety AS203 Laymore is a lightweight safety boot built for anyone spending long days on their feet outdoors — gamekeepers, kennel staff, larder workers and general estate or trade work. The upper is full-grain water-resistant Crazyhorse leather, backed by a breathable mesh lining that keeps the boot comfortable over a full shift rather than just showerproof for an hour. Underfoot it is rated EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC, combining a 200-joule steel toecap with an anti-penetration steel midsole and a slip-resistant SRC-rated dual-density PU outsole for grip on wet, oily or muddy ground. A padded mesh collar and tongue cushion the ankle, a removable EVA footbed adds all-day comfort, and an injected PU scuff cap protects the toe area from everyday knocks. A heel reflector panel adds a touch of visibility in low light. Supplied in brown leather with lace fastening, in UK sizes 6 to 12. Worth noting: this is a water-resistant boot, not a fully waterproof one, so it suits wet grass, mud and rain rather than standing water.
