The Amblers Safety AS950 is a purpose-built S3 HRO SRC welding safety boot for tradespeople working with hot metal. It carries a 200 Joule fibreglass composite toe cap and a metal-free anti-penetration midsole, making the boot 100% non-metallic throughout. The upper is water- and fire-resistant full grain leather with flame-resistant stitching, and a padded collar helps keep hot embers out of the boot. A quick-release touch-fastening protective overflap covers the lacing for fast on and off without leaving stitching exposed to sparks. Underfoot, the heat-resistant dual-density rubber outsole is rated to withstand temperatures up to 300°C, stays non-clogging and oil-resistant, and grips wet or contaminated floors thanks to its SRC slip resistance. The boot is also antistatic and fitted with an energy-absorbing heel for comfort over a long shift. Built for welders, fabricators and anyone working close to hot metal, the AS950 combines genuine welding-specific protection with all-day wearability.
