- Heavy moulded rubber toe and heel guards sit outside the composite cap for extra scuff resistance
- Removable cushioned PU footbed with arch support and a deep padded mesh collar for all-day wear
Part of the same rugged, metal-free range as the Quarry, the Amblers Safety Flare is a 6" safety boot finished in black for site and estate work where a fully metal-free build is required. The upper is water-resistant full-grain leather over an internal waterproof membrane, backed by Thinsulate insulation for cold, wet conditions, and every metal component - including the toe cap and lacing hardware - is replaced with composite and non-metallic parts. The boot carries the S7S safety class, adding cold insulation (CI), fuel and oil resistance (FO), a heat-resistant outsole (HRO) and slip resistance (SR), with a cleated Phylon midsole and rubber outsole giving ladder grip (LG) for secure footing on ladders and uneven ground. Heavy moulded rubber toe and heel guards sit on the outside of the composite cap, adding extra scuff resistance without adding weight. A removable cushioned PU footbed with arch support and a deep padded mesh collar make it comfortable enough for a full working day. Suited to keepering, larder work, kennels and general trade duty on wet or icy ground.
