The Amblers Safety FS40C is a fully non-metal safety trainer built for anyone who needs certified protection without the weight or cold-bridging of a traditional boot. The upper combines breathable mesh with microfibre overlays on a textile loop lacing system, backed by a cushioned textile lining with a padded collar and tongue for all-day wear. In place of steel, the FS40C uses a composite toe cap and a composite midsole, giving it a certified S1P SRC rating to EN ISO 20345:2011 — protection against impact, compression and underfoot penetration with none of the metal. The rubber outsole is oil-resistant and carries an SRC slip-resistance rating, tested for grip on both ceramic and steel surfaces contaminated with water and cleaning products, and the heel is anti-static and energy-absorbing. Entirely non-leather, it's a good fit for kennel, larder, trade and light-industrial work where a lightweight trainer-style safety shoe is preferred over a boot.
