The Amblers Safety FS430 Orca is a rugged hybrid safety boot built for wet, demanding work — well suited to keepering, larder and kennel duties as well as general outdoor trade use. The upper combines a half moulded waterproof rubber galosh with a water-resistant leather section, backed by a breathable waterproof membrane and mesh lining to keep feet dry without overheating. Protection is entirely metal-free: a 200 Joule composite toe cap and a non-metallic, penetration-resistant midsole, certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 (SBH P E A FO WRU HRO SRC). The outsole is SRC-rated for slip resistance on both ceramic and steel test surfaces, and is also resistant to fuel, oil and heat up to 300°C, with an energy-absorbing heel and antistatic protection built in. Inside, a padded collar and bellowed tongue reduce rubbing at the ankle, while the removable EVA footbed with memory-foam heel cushioning adds all-day comfort. Available in black, this is a genuinely tough, non-metal safety boot for anyone who needs certified protection without setting off a metal detector.
