The Amblers Safety FS430 Orca is a hybrid waterproof safety boot built for wet, demanding working conditions — well suited to keepering, larder, kennel and general estate or trade work. It combines a waterproof polymer and leather upper with an extra waterproof rubber galosh and a breathable waterproof membrane and mesh lining, so feet stay dry without overheating. Rated to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3, it has a lightweight composite (non-metallic) toe cap and a composite penetration-resistant midsole, so there's no steel to conduct cold or set off a metal detector. An energy-absorbing heel and antistatic construction add protection through a long day, while the padded collar and tongue improve comfort at the ankle. The outsole is fuel & oil resistant and heat resistant, and carries an SRA slip-resistance rating, tested on wet ceramic tile with a detergent solution, for secure footing on slippery floors.
