Nosler's Ballistic Tip Varmint bullets are a component projectile for handloaders, built for violent, explosive performance on foxes, rabbits and other small predators. Each 0.224in diameter, 60-grain bullet carries Nosler's colour-coded polymer tip, which drives back into the ultra-thin jacket mouth on impact to trigger rapid fragmentation and dramatic energy transfer — exactly what varmint shooters want, rather than the controlled expansion of a deer bullet. A gradually thickening jacket wall and Nosler's Solid Base design hold the bullet together through the initial impact while still delivering match-grade accuracy downrange, and the boat-tail profile keeps the trajectory flat and efficient at range. This cannelured, non-lead-free spitzer is supplied 100 to the box as a reloading component only — it is not loaded ammunition and is not intended for use in tubular magazine rifles. A minimum twist rate of 1-in-10in or faster is recommended to stabilise the bullet properly.
