The Mjoelner Heimdal VS 10x42 Binocular is the higher-magnification value-tier choice in the Heimdal range — the same fully coated BK7 build and nitrogen-purged chassis as the 8x42 with the extra reach of 10x for open-ground stalking, hill work and longer glassing sessions where you're picking apart distant cover. The 304 ft / 1,000 yds field of view is narrower than the 8x42 (an inevitable trade-off for the extra reach) but the 42 mm objective keeps the exit pupil large enough to remain usable in fading light. The nitrogen-purged build is fully waterproof and fog-proof — no internal misting when moving between cold air and a warm vehicle. For stalkers who spend more time on open hill than in close woodland, the 10x42 VS gives you the reach to identify and judge game at distance without paying Alpha-tier prices.
