Hill Pump Crank Oil is a proprietary lubricant specifically manufactured for use with the Hill EC-3000, EC-3000 Evo, and Evo-310 electric PCP air compressors, made in Sheffield, UK. The crank case oil is dyed red so it can be easily distinguished from the separate clear silicone oil, both of which are formulated to meet the demands of high-pressure compression up to 310 bar. The 50ml bottle is sized to match the compressor's crank case capacity, with an initial fill requiring nearly the whole bottle to charge the crank properly. After that, the crank oil does not need topping up between service intervals — Hill Pump recommend replacing both the crank oil and the silicone oil at approximately every 50 hours of run time. No substitute oils should ever be used in the Hill electric compressor; off-the-shelf compressor lubricants are not formulated for this application and could damage the unit. This oil is the genuine Hill Pump item and is sold as a standalone 50ml bottle, allowing replacement without purchasing the full oil kit.
