The Croots Malton cartridge belt is a traditional 12-gauge shotgun belt, handmade in England from waxed bridle leather. Each hide is traditionally tanned, then hand-cured and stained by skilled craftsmen to produce a smooth aniline finish, before an age-old blend of fats, oils and waxes is worked in to feed the leather, add a deep layer of protection and give it that distinctive, hard-wearing look. This X-Large belt fits a 48in to 54in waist, measured from the buckle pin to the first and last hole, and carries 25 open loops so your 12-bore cartridges sit ready to hand on a driven day or at the clays. A wide leather stopper band runs across the loops to keep shells seated and stop them working loose as you walk between drives, while the open-loop design lets you draw and reload quickly. The belt fastens with a solid brass buckle, 2in wide. Croots have made leather goods in Malton, Yorkshire for generations, and this belt reflects that workmanship: a handsome, dependable piece of kit that only wears in better over years of use.
