The Caterpillar Powerplant GYW is a leather safety boot built on traditional Goodyear-welted construction, which gives it a classic fit, real durability and the option to be resoled rather than replaced once the sole wears through. A 200 Joule steel toe cap and PVC midsole protect against impact and penetration, while the Goodyear-welted nitrile rubber outsole is heat resistant to 300°C and stands up to fuel and oil, so it copes with genuinely demanding worksites. An energy-absorbent heel helps cut fatigue over a long shift, and a removable PU footbed with padded PU collar add comfort and support around the ankle. Triple stitched seams keep the boot together under repeated flexing and heavy daily wear. Finished in Honey with a waxed full-grain leather upper, it is built to hold its shape and finish in tough working environments.
