The FX Hammer Seat is a genuine FX Airguns factory replacement part for the hammer assembly in FX PCP air rifles. The hammer seat is the component against which the hammer or hammer spring locates at rest; it provides the reference surface that governs the hammer's starting position and therefore the consistency of each valve strike. A worn, cracked or displaced hammer seat will introduce variability into the striker travel, leading to erratic power output and poor shot-to-shot consistency. Fitting a replacement FX Hammer Seat restores the correct geometry to the hammer assembly and returns the rifle to its factory operating specification. This is a small but functionally critical internal part — suitable for anyone undertaking a thorough service or repair of the hammer mechanism in their FX rifle.
