The FX Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) Barrel Liner in .22 calibre and 600mm length is the factory-standard liner used across FX production rifles and sold separately for Impact, Wildcat, Dreamline and Crown barrel kits. The rifling is pressed into the liner from the outside using FX's patented process, which holds tighter tolerances than cut or button rifling and produces a bore that tracks both pellets and slugs cleanly. The 1:24 twist rate of this standard Superior variant is tuned for standard-weight .22 pellets and FX Hybrid Slugs, making it a versatile choice for hunters and field shooters. At 600mm, it offers a step up in muzzle velocity over the 500mm liner while keeping the overall rifle length manageable — a popular middle-ground length on the Impact and Crown platforms. Supplied as the liner only; no barrel kit is included.
